Leadership Greater New Haven
Now entering its 29th year, Leadership Greater New Haven (LGNH) is held annually from September to March. Participants in LGNH conduct community service projects during their 6-month curriculum. During this time, they partner with a local non-profit organization and work in small groups. This allows participants an opportunity to further develop their leadership skills. A sampling of topics includes:
- Understanding New Haven’s Assets
- Goal Setting
- Team Building and Problem Solving
- Social Media Marketing
- True Colors Personality Inventory
- Creating an Impressive Image & Brand
- A Career "Check-up"
- Diversity Awareness
- Negotiation Skills
The 2013 Graduation ceremony took place at The WoodWinds in Branford, CT.
